Bio

Rick is a partner in Axilon, practicing out of the firm’s Bozeman / Big Sky office. His practice focuses on construction and real estate, business litigation and transactions, and insurance coverage and defense.

In litigation and arbitration Rick represents clients in matters involving construction defect and contract disputes, real estate and business contracts, premises liability and mortgage lending. He defends architects, engineers and other professionals on claims of professional liability. In transactional matters Rick represents clients in the purchase, sale and financing of businesses and real estate. He also provides advice and counsel for business startups, contracts and other commercial transactions.

Rick has been practicing for over 23 years and is rated “AV” Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethics standards, reflecting the confidential opinions of members of the bar and judiciary. Whether representing a client in a transaction or a lawsuit, Rick strives to bring a practical, solutions-oriented approach to the law that ultimately saves his clients time and money.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Family Promise of Gallatin Valley, and is a member of the Bozeman Noon Rotary Club.
