Axilon’s attorneys receive many invitations to speak, especially in March as the deadline looms for attorneys to obtain CLE credits for the prior calendar year.  This year is no exception.  In the first week of March, at ALFA’s International Client Seminar, Susan Ridgeway spoke on a panel entitled “Finding the Phoenix in the Ashes of 2020,” which explored how to achieve diverse and inclusive workplaces.  At the same seminar, Tom Singer moderated a presentation titled “Ain’t it a Shame (How Discrimination Law Perpetuates Inequality)” that challenged the audience to rethink how America addresses discrimination.  Tom reprised that presentation a couple of weeks later at The Seminar Group’s 16th Annual Montana Labor & Employment Law seminar, which he has co-moderated for many years.  Also presenting at that seminar was Brent Brooks, who joined Axilon just a few months ago.  Brent’s presentation addressed “Bostock and Beyond:  Developments in the Law Governing Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression.”  We were pleased to be able to contribute to the success of both seminars.
