Axilon Law Group was chosen by the Montana Innocence Project as its 2014 Outstanding Law Firm. The Outstanding Law Firm Award recognizes a law firm that has provided support both through pro bono support and financially. Axilon received the award due to the hard work of attorney Betsy Griffing, and paralegal Samantha Schrock, who performed pro bono work on an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals to the Ninth Circuit of a case involving post-conviction DNA testing. Griffing and Schrock received the award on behalf of Axilon at the Montana Innocence Project’s Annual Open House on October 17, 2014 at the University of Montana School of Law.
