Axilon is pleased to have two extraordinary law students clerking at the firm this summer. Alex Dreussi, who will be a 3L at the University of Montana School of Law this fall, is working in our Missoula office. Alex grew up in Ohio and moved west over a decade ago after graduating from The College of Wooster with a degree in psychology. In law school, Alex has been active in the Student Bar Association, the Native American Law Students Association, Montana’s Black Law Students Association, OUTlaws, and the Trial Team.
Barbara Di Castro is working with Axilon’s Billings office this summer. Barbara goes to law school at the University of Texas in Austin, where she is a member of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and the Chicano Hispanic Law Student Association. She was raised in Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Abilene, Texas. She received a B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas in International Political Economy.
Barbara was introduced to Axilon through the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Project. Axilon is a strong supporter of DAPP’s efforts to equip women of color law students with intensive professional development and attorney mentoring. Axilon has offered summer positions to women of color following their first year of law school for the last four years. Bringing DAPP interns into the firm has been an enriching and rewarding experience for everyone at Axilon.
