Her practice focuses on employment law and civil litigation. She authored the 2008 Montana ALFA Employment Law Compendium, and has taught several employment law seminars. Jill is a Montana native from the Central Montana community of Grass Range. She brings to her law practice prior experience in management, insurance, securities and government. Before entering law school she was appointed Montana's Deputy State Auditor, a position in which she served as chief of staff to the State Auditor/Insurance & Securities Commissioner, oversaw regulation of the insurance and securities industries in Montana, and lobbied the legislature on insurance and securities matters. While in law school Jill did a clinical clerkship with the Honorable Magistrate Judge Leif Erickson in U.S. District Court and interned at the Paoli & Shea law office. She graduated with high honors from the University of Montana in 2006.
